TEA WALK 2016 – “STAND UP SPEAK UP”

TEA Walk is amongst us once again, and we will be pushing full force for marketing and getting people registered for TEA Walk these coming weeks. This year's TEA Walk will be held on Saturday, October 08, 2016. Each year, we walk in unity to celebrate the diversity of our community and to promote civic engagement. Our theme for the 12th Annual TEA Walk is " STAND UP SPEAK UP " inviting Atlanta's diverse community to walk in solidarity.

The TEA Walk website is now up at https://teawalk.org/register. This website provides event information, including what TEA Walk is, where to find the event and where to park, and most importantly, ONLINE REGISTRATION. Please go to the website and register yourself, and proceed to send your friends, family, and colleagues to register as well. Flyers in PDF and Jpg are available on the website to download.

  • FACEBOOK EVENT INVITATION

A Facebook Event for TEA Walk has been made through CPACS' Facebook page (www.facebook.com/cpacs.org). Please go to the Facebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/492062467654293 and mark your attendance, then proceed to invite all of your ATLANTA Facebook friends. Also, please share the Facebook event on your own walls.

To do all of this, click on the link and go to the top right corner where you will see 1) an invite button, 2) a button to mark your attendance, and 3) a cog wheel where you can select to share the event.

  • TEA WALK STAFF EMAIL SIGNATURE

Just like last year, we would like to have everyone change their CPACS email signature to include a TEA Walk stamp where people will be able to click on it and register on the website. Please note that this will only work if you are using Office 365 (https://outlook.office.com) to access your CPACS email. Also note that most of the time, this method will not show the TEA Walk stamp as another attachment. However, depending on the user's email client, this will be unavoidable. To setup your TEA Walk email signature, please follow the below instructions:

  1.   Highlight this image with your mouse and press Ctrl + C
  2.   Open Office 365 Email
  3.   Click on Tools > My app settings > Mail >
  4.   Click on Email Signatures > click on the Email signature format (box)
  5.   Select your email signature (or create a new one for TEA Walk)
  6.   Click on the bottom of your signature where the TEA Walk stamp would go (or in place of the CPACS logo)
  7.   Press Ctrl + V
  8.   Click Save

  • SIGN-UP SHEETS

Last Staff Meeting, everyone was given a TEA Walk sign-up sheet to sign up a minimum of 25 people. We will be going around this Thursday and Friday to collect sign-up sheets from Staff. If you need more, the sign-up sheet has been attached.
